Provide a little introduction about yourself, where are you from?

Hi my name is Andy Tsang and I'm from NYC. I grew up in Brooklyn but was recently relocated to Staten Island.

​

What are your hobbies? 

 

I enjoy doing anything physical and challenging. I started swimming since I was a kid, played a lot of volleyball and basketball growing up, and was on the wrestling team during high school.

​

Where do you hope to be after you are finished with pharmacy school?

​

As of right now, I wish to be employed with a retail pharmacy after pharmacy school. I'm still in the beginning of my pharmacy school journey and things might be a bit different as time progresses.

 

What did you accomplish at the end of your P1 year?

​

During my time in the undergraduate pre-pharmacy program, I was always worried about what other people have accomplished and their opinion on a certain class. After my P1 year, I have learned to focus on myself during times of stress to decrease the anxiety and not worry so much about other people's opinion.

One piece of advice that you would give to someone preparing for pharmacy school.

​

Don't let other people's success intimidate you and remember to never doubt your first answer during an exam.
