Provide a little introduction about yourself...where are you from?

Hi, I'm Callie and I'm from Westchester, New York. I went to the University of Maryland- College Park for undergrad and finished with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry then came to UB for pharmacy!

What are your hobbies?

​

I enjoy hanging out with friends and listening to music, hiking, going to concerts, and going on lots of road trips when I have some downtime from school.

What are your career goals?

​

As of now, I want to go into clinical pharmacy working in the hospital with other physicians, but haven't decided on any specialty! I want to keep my options open while I'm in pharmacy school and see what interests me.

What did you accomplish in your P1 year? What do you hope to accomplish by the time you graduate?

​

Aside from being part of LKS, I am part of APhA as part of the Operation Heart P1 Co-Chair. I've also joined the Deans Student Ambassador and am hoping to join more organizations in the upcoming year! By the time I graduate I hope to have secured a residency for post graduate opportunities or have a job!

What is one piece of advice you would give someone to prepare for pharmacy school?

​

Don't take yourself too seriously! School is important, but make sure to make time for yourself and have fun along the way!
