Provide a little introduction about yourself...where are you from?

Hi, my name is Emily and I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and completed the 2+4 Early Assurance program at UB. During my two years of undergrad, I served as the Public Relations chair for the Vietnamese Student Association and worked as an Orientation Leader!

What are your hobbies?

​

When I'm not at school I'm most likely online shopping, with friends, or going out to a party or concert.

What are your career goals?

​

Not totally sure yet! Right now I am interested in specialty pharmacy and am seeing where pharmacy school takes me.

What did you accomplish in your P1 year? What do you hope to accomplish by the time you graduate?

​

During P1, I really enjoyed getting to know my fellow classmates by serving as the P1 Vice President and especially through LKS as well. In the Student Association of Specialty Pharmacy, I was able to organize events such as our LinkedIn workshop and was given the opportunity to present on Multiple Sclerosis under Dr. Steele. In the future, I hope to plan the P2 gala as Vice President and keep my options open career wise to find what I am most passionate about!

What is one piece of advice you would give someone to prepare for pharmacy school?

​

Enjoy your time in school! Make the most of everything, go to events, talk to people and take a break from the stress!
